Maximum Security Online
The confidentiality and security of your data are of premier importance to National Bank Financial.

That is why we have chosen the highest level of security today’s technology allows, i.e. 128-bit encryption, which makes it practically impossible for anyone to intercept or decode the data exchanged between your computer and ours. Think of it as "maximum security" online.

Online Services will automatically check to see if you have the right version of your browser and let you know if you don’t. See your browser’s website for information about downloading and installing the 128-bit version.

Other Security Measures
In addition to 128-bit encryption, we secure communications in various ways. First, you will choose a password that only you will know. We recommend that you change this password regularly to further ensure it remains private. To find out how to change your password, follow the links in the Help section. Second, we recommend that you empty your browser’s cache memory regularly. Most Internet browsers use the cache to store images or files you have downloaded. Emptying the cache after a session ensures that no intruder can access any personal information it might contain. Finally, remember to end your online session properly. You’ll see a Quit icon at the top of each screen in Online Services. If you forget to terminate your online session, National Bank Financial will automatically disconnect you after 15 minutes of inactivity. Remember that any e-mail sent via the non-secure zone of our website is not encrypted and cannot be protected. For this reason, we remind you not to put any confidential personal or financial information in any e-mail messages.
