Quality Advice – A Capital Asset
When you do business with National Bank Financial, you enjoy access to a comprehensive range of investment vehicles that is not available at just any other financial institution. And yet, that’s not our top priority.

Our primary role is to offer you enlightened, well-researched and well-documented advice, to help you make the right financial decisions. Before even telling you about our products, we put you in contact with a Personal Investment Advisor who will assist you with all your investment decisions.

Establishing a real investment strategy
The first time you contact us, we will immediately refer you to one of our Investment Advisors. He or she will become your personal counselor and guide to all our services. Your Investment Advisor is always available, and will make recommendations in keeping with your changing financial position, market conditions and tax concerns.

Your Investment Advisor will help you establish a plan – a long-term view of your financial future and the context in which it should be considered. First, you’ll work together to identify your investment objectives and investment "horizon." Then your Advisor will help you define your investor profile. This is a critical step, since knowing your investor profile allows you and your Investment Advisor to establish the right asset mix for your portfolio.

From that moment on, you will begin to realize what a capital asset our advice can be.

A Long-term Relationship
Dealing with an Investment Advisor is about more than just products and trading. It is about developing a long-term relationship with an investment professional who has the benefit of the best training in the business. This person is your expert – always there to provide information and advice in keeping with your financial situation, current market conditions and tax concerns.

Not Just the Stock Market
There’s also a lot more to securities than just stocks. In fact, stocks account for only 40% of all the assets National Bank Financial manages for its individual investor clients; the remaining 60% are other types of investments. Our goal is help you create an integrated investment strategy based on asset diversification.

National Bank Financial Investment Advisors have no vested interest in any particular product. We do not issue any stocks or bonds, nor do we offer any in-house mutual funds. This ensures maximum objectivity and allows your Investment Advisor to put all his or her expertise to use in helping you build the portfolio that best suits your needs.

When you deal with a National Bank Financial Investment Advisor, you gain three significant advantages:

  • You obtain clear, straightforward information and explanations that shed light on the often complex world of investment ;
  • You benefit from the unbiased advice of an experienced investment professional;
  • You enjoy access to the complete range of investment vehicles that can be negotiated by a financial institution: fixed-income securities, stocks, mutual funds, etc.
